The day we relaxed

From last night’s dinner, we give Wasabi’s Sushi a “nono ONO” that means thumbs down in Polish Hawaiian.

Dagnabit, we overslept again! Oh well. Today we have no ambition but we understand that to be okay when one is on vacation, as long as this is only a passing feeling we will go ahead and let it be. When one has feelings of no ambition going out for meals is about all that can be accomplished. After breakfast on our lanai, we chose to head for Hamura’s for some saimin noodles and a slice of the ever famous lilikoi pie. We were rewarded that Hamura’s was open on the Labor Day holiday and we had a great lunch.

We took a quick trip over to the Kukui Grove Shopping Center to see if by chance Ginko Sushi had decided to open early, sadly they were not. Closer inspection showed that they have yet to move anything in. Maybe next time.

After a quick dip in the pool and some relaxing spa time we headed out for Ba Le Vietnamese. After a great dinner of shrimp spring rolls and noodle soup we returned to the resort exhausted. It is amazing how tiring this vacationing thing can be.
