Moving Right Along

Well our steps to bring us closer to Megan keep moving right along. We had our first appointment with our social worker for the home study last Thursday night. It went really good. We are pleased with the gal our agency set us up with. Now we just have to finish up the paperwork requirements for the home study. We have several appointments coming up over the next 3 weeks to take care of medical exams and fingerprinting.

In the middle of this I am heading to Virginia for visiting Jacque, Rich and Kyle along with a road trip to Ohio and visiting the Clausing side of the family. I am so excited to tell Grandma Clausing the news of our adoption. This will make for a fifth great grandchild. In celebrating our anniversary this year, I was reminded of G&G Clausing’s anniversary that is only 4 days after ours. This year would have been their 71st wedding anniversary. How awesome is that!! Compared to our 16th this year, it’s gonna be hard to top 71 but we have the benefit of starting young! God has been so good to me to allow me the joy of having grandparents through a large portion of my adult life.
