A very special conversation about Megan...

Our very good friends Teri and Allyn's daughter Samantha who is only 27 months but way advanced in her conversational skills had this conversation the other morning with her dada. They've been telling Samantha that we are going to China to adopt Megan and they’ve shown her Megan’s photos. So in the car Monday morning on the way to work this exchange took place:

dada: tonight we are going to have dinner with uncle alan and auntie mandy.
samantha: they’re going to get a baby!
dada: yes, that’s right!
samantha: and they’re going to fly on the big airplane.
dada: yes. and where are they going?
samantha: China.

My heart melted when I read this and then at dinner Samantha was asked again where we are going and she replied so sweetly, China. Megan is going to have a wonderful friend in Samantha! She's going to be her big China sister in so many ways.
