Annual Family Thanksgiving Desert Trip

The annual family Thanksgiving trip out to the desert was no different than years past – full of motor cycle riding, kick the can, tons of Thanksgiving leftovers and constant activity. Megan had a blast and if her on the go spirit is any indication, she will be on the way to giving her cousins a run for their money in a few years. One hilarious moment that I just have to share… Ziggy is a lab retriever that is going through some dog training classes with Alan’s mom. We’d been teaching Megan how to tell Ziggy no when he’d get a little too much in her face. So at one point she was standing just outside the door and all of a sudden she yelled “Ziggy stay” and accompanied that command with a pointed finger at Ziggy. We all just died of laughter at how she perfectly executed that command. This little girl is so on her way to talking in sentences – look out world!
