Fingerprinting fun

We went over to the Oceanside Police Dept last week and got the privilege of having all our fingers electronically scanned. Yet another requirement for the adoption of our little Megan. They look throughout the system to see if any of our fingerprints come up involved in a crime - every finger is considered just in case you decided to commit a crime using only your pinkie. One nice thing is you don’t go home with black fingers! I found the whole process quite interesting. We go in a couple of days to do our fingerprints for the INS for Megan’s US citizenship process. Somehow I think we’ll have black fingers on this one! I just keep reminding myself all this is worth it to bring Megan home.
