Visiting G&G, Daisy and Uncle Jason

Since Alan was helping our friends Ty & Sharon install siding on their new home, Megan and I headed up to take in a visit with family.


Our first stop was at my mom's. Of course the second we walk in the door Megan is transfixed on the dog Daisy. I think Megan is going to have to have a pet at some point in the coming years. She gets so excited with our cats and then dogs create a whole new level of excitment because they actually want to interact with her. Daisy is a funny dog, she has the head, body and tail of a labarador but the legs of a dachsund (weiner dog). Sweetest dog but more energy than I've ever seen in a dog. It took Megan a little time but she got up the courage to reach out and pet Daisy and would giggle when Daisy would kiss her fingers. Our second stop was a short one at Mimi and Papa's. Megan enjoyed swinging with Mimi out on the porch and also playing with Matthew and his friend Thomas. Papa was down in Mexico, Danielle was at a friends and Jason was at basketball practice. We were glad to see all who were there but then it came time to head home. We had a fun but full day!!
