First Christmas Tree

Last year we didn't put up the Christmas tree due to sheer exhaustion from having just gotten home and dealing with jet lag and being sick. But we had to put it up this year! We decided to trim the tree the night before while Megan was sleeping and it seems to have been a good decision because she hasn't bottered any of the ornaments. It didn't come as a surprise to either one of us that the first ornament she noticed was the owl made by Alan as a child - she absolutely loves owls. We get reminded every day of the owl on the tree.
