2005 FCC Moon Festival

This past Sunday was the annual Moon Festival hosted by our local FCC group. It was a wonderful event filled with a time of catching up with other families whom we hadn't seen in a while as well as getting to know new families. Alan finally got to meet Kim and Rudd's new daughter Cheryl whom they brought home exactly 1 month ago today. I had already gone up to for a visit during the week when Alan was at work but that was almost 3 weeks ago and she has blossomed since then!

Picnic dinners were brought and the park's playground facilities were enjoyed while we awaited the moon to rise for our lantern parade. Everyone had either homemade lanterns or elaborate store bought lanterns with glowsticks and flashlights inside to "light" them for our parade. We are really looking forward to our next FCC event (the holiday party in December) because we get to RSVP that 3 are coming and not 2! Oh my, I need to find her a Christmas outfit - more shopping to do!

We are still awaiting our referral but are expecting it anyday now!!! Come on phone - RING!!!!!
